Aplication for Evaluation of a Research Project
|
This guide is a reference document for all researchers who would like to submit a research project to the JREC/RCID-PDD. It is based on the rules and principles laid down in the Ministry of Health and Social Services’ Ministerial Action Plan on Research Ethics and Scientific Integrity (1998), the Tri-Council Policy Statement (1998), and the FRSQ’s Research Ethics and Scientific Integrity Guidelines (2003).
The evaluation request forms such as the initial assessment, the annual renewal or change requests must be in French. However, other documents accompanying the application (e.g. : information and consent form) can be written in French or English, depending on the language understood by potential research participants.
The JREC/RCID-PDD has developed two evaluation grids containing the criteria on which it bases its assessment of research projects.
